At HC25 Tigers, our statutes define the spirit and operational guidelines of our ice hockey community. We prioritize fun, teamwork, and skill development, ensuring a welcoming environment for all members. Whether you’re a core player or a drop-in enthusiast, our statutes guide our practices and interactions. Join us as we lay the foundation for a fantastic hockey experience!
Core Members (Core Team)
Core Members, also referred to as the “Core Team”, commit to the full ice-time period, based on recurring 3-month seasons (usually OCT–DEC and JAN–MAR), and share the total ice cost equally. A minimum of 10 Core Members is required to secure the rink rental.
Occasional (Drop-In) Players
Drop-in players may join individual sessions when roster space allows. They contribute through a per-session fee.
Newcomers
A newcomer participating for the first time may join one session free of charge, subject to available space. From the second session onward, the newcomer may either participate as a Drop-In Player or join the Core Team, in both cases subject to agreement of the Core Members.
Goalies
Goalies are not charged for participation when they play with the team.
Core Contributions
Core Members pay equal shares of the full rink rental cost for each 3-month period in advance. Actual total cost for ten games in season 2025-26 is 3215.50 EUR, incl. VAT.
Drop-In Contributions
Drop-in players pay one tenth of a game’s cost per session (typically 32.15 EUR).
These contributions go into the Club Fund.
Newcomer First Session
A newcomer’s first session is free (availability permitting).
This does not apply to goalies who request payment.
Goalie Compensation
If a goalie requests financial compensation, the amount must be approved by Core Members prior to agreement. This compensation could be paid from the Club Fund if agreed by the Core Team.
Invited Guests Compensation
Invited Guests do not contribute to ice-time costs. If an Invited Guest requests financial compensation for participation, the compensation must be approved in advance by a simple majority of Core Members and could be paid from the Club Fund, if agreed by the Core Team.
Use of Club Fund
At the end of each season, Core Members decide whether the Club Fund shall be:
used to cover ice-time costs for the following season,
used for the purchase of shared club equipment,
distributed back as equal rebates to Core Members, or
split between the above purposes in proportions determined by the Core Members.
Ice time is reserved primarily for Core Members.
Drop-in players may join if space allows.
Goalies may join depending on team needs.
All members are expected to behave respectfully and uphold good sportsmanship.
Proper hockey safety equipment is required for all participants.
The mandatory minimum equipment required to participate in a session consists of:
helmet (with full cage or visor strongly recommended),
shin guards,
hockey gloves.
Goalies must use goalie-specific protective equipment
The use of full hockey protective gear (including shoulder pads, elbow pads, hockey pants, protective cup/jill, mouthguard, and neck protector) is strongly recommended for personal safety.
The Core Members may recommend that a participant does not take part in a session if their equipment is considered unsafe or insufficient for the level of play.
Decisions regarding finances, compensation, membership rules, or equipment are made by a simple majority of Core Members.
A quorum of at least 50% of Core Members is required.
These statutes can be updated at any time by a simple majority vote of Core Members.
